Welcome to Let It Out Wellbeing CIC's Level One course 'Rise'.
RISE is a 6 week course of talking therapy/counselling, with it's foundations formed via Person Centered Therapy Methods (Carl Rogers) and Transactional Analysis. This in-person course is run by a fully qualified counsellor, supported by mental health practitioners, who will share valuable insights and practical tips to help you navigate life's challenges, whilst offering friendly, judgement-free ears to simply listen.
About the Course:
The Level One Group Therapy Course is designed as a gentle introduction to group therapy, offering a nurturing space for individuals to engage in talking therapy, freedom of expression, coping mechanisms, and therapeutic art and mindfulness activities. Over the course of 6 weeks, you will embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal empowerment.
What to Expect:
During the structured weekly sessions, you will have the opportunity to express yourself freely, without judgment, while developing valuable coping skills and making meaningful connections with others. Our supportive and confidential environment encourages personal development, improved self-esteem, and the recognition of triggers and negative thought spirals.
Goals and Outcomes:
By participating in the introductory group therapy course, you can expect to experience improved self-esteem, confidence, enhanced coping mechanisms, and a deeper understanding of your personal triggers. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and support needed for positive thinking, self-compassion, and recognising and managing negative thought patterns.
So please join us for Rise and take the first step towards a journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.
The courses are:
- Small, safe and confidential talking support groups
- A maximum of 8 members per group
- Run by a qualified counsellor with 25+ years of experience, mental health practitioners and co-facilitators.
Teas, coffees and snacks are provided during the sessions, so all your need to bring is yourself and an open mind! (Please advise us of any dietary requirements prior to starting with us and we will make sure we accommodate.)
Should weekly sessions be tricky to commit to (we get it, life can get in the way), we also offer more condensed 1 day 'Discover Me' workshops. If this is something you feel would better suit your current situation you can read more about them here. Alternatively, use the form on this page to send us a message and one of our friendly team will be in touch.
